With a single stroke of the proverbial pen, The Guardian declares with a single voice, "We Believe that the escalating climate crisis is the defining issue of our lifetimes and that the planet is in the grip of an emergency." and as Editor-in-chief, Katharine Viner said, "The Guardian will give the Climate Crisis the attention it demands."

Originally founded back in 1821 as The Manchester Guardian, this British Newspaper has built it's reputation on reporting Accurate and Unbiased Information to it's readership.

This week it appears that they have finally taken the step to separate themselves from the rest of the pack by taking a stand against the False Narrative of, "Climate Change Is A Hoax" which is continually debated on American 24-Hour News Channels.  They, like many others, are finally drawing a line in the sand and declaring that: The Debate is over; Climate Change is Real; and We have to Act NOW!

In a brilliantly worded article, The Guardian goes on to declare that:

• We will continue our longstanding record of powerful environmental reporting, which is known around the world for its quality and independence.
• We will report on how environmental collapse is already affecting people around the world, including during natural disasters and extreme weather events.
• We will use language that recognises the severity of the crisis we’re in.
• The Guardian will achieve net zero emissions by 2030.
• We will be transparent with our progress. 

We at AvanVive proudly stand by The Guardian in support of reporting Accurate Information to the masses, for if we fail to maintain an agreed upon set of Facts; no debates can successfully be had; no Solutions can be efficiently implemented.
